Description

Today, the traffic light at 401 and Ligon Mill heading South on 401 was not timed properly. This made traffic back up beyond forestville road into Rolesville. The light is usually better timed. While the North Bound lanes were going, the south bound lanes were still stuck at a red light, for several minutes. When it did turn green, there was only enough time for a few cars to get through. You could tell this was the problem because once you got through the light there was absolutely no traffic southbound on 401. I drive this road every morning and it was obvious that the signal was timed differently than other days.
