Please please please install a HAWK light or even a pedestrian crossing sign and road paint on Ruthrauff Rd between LaCholla and I-10. Two would be even better but at least one would save lives.

Thank you for reaching out to share your concerns about the
safety and operation of Ruthrauff Road. In response to the crash and subsequent
requests for a safety evaluation, Pima County Department of Transportation
(PCDOT) is reviewing the Ruthrauff Road/Wetmore Road corridor from Maryvale
Avenue to Schafer Drive/Tucson City Limits. We are reviewing the corridor to provide recommendations for potential
improvements, including street lighting, potential traffic signal
installations, and HAWK pedestrian crossings.
We anticipate having the study completed by the end of
summer 2024. We appreciate your concern and patience for this effort. As we
