Description
Requesting a sidewalk install on Narragansett Ave from Spring Street to the Cliff Walk. Currently, there is no sidewalk which pushes residents, tourists and Salve students to walk in a busy street. Wheelchairs and Strollers can not walk along the paths above the road. There is plenty of room for a sidewalk and this sidewalk installation is already mentioned in the Transportation Plan. Let's make it happen before someone gets hurt.
The cliff walk is being repaired so it makes sense to connect the cliff walk to Narragansett Ave with a sidewalk so people can walk there. The end of Narragansett Ave is the only location of public bathrooms along the Cliff Walk. There is so much foot traffic forced to walk in the street.
Please install a sidewalk on Narragansett.
It's a safety issue and also a public perception issue - it's not good to force tourists and students to walk in the street to get to the Cliff Walk.
Thank you!

Is there anything the public can do to help push the funding to be prioritized?
