For Cats, they are allowed to run loose on their own property. They must stay confined to that property. The moment a cat moves across a property line, it is in violation. Keep in mind that we do not chase or pursue cats in the same manner that we do canines. Typically, we set up traps for nuisance and community cats. These cats are entered into our TNR (trap neuter release) program. The same procedure for processing concerns about owned canines applies to complainants concerning owned cats.
