Description
The windows at 3300 Broadway (at Brook) were smashed a couple weeks ago but no effort has been made to replace them. The boarded-up windows are attracting graffiti and illegal posters. It's blighted and the business or building owner needs to install new windows. Can Code Enforcement ensures this happens to help Broadway look a little better? Thank you!

Dear Chris G., I am curious: do you know how much replacing windows costs and how long it takes to complete the process? And do you think that the small businesses that routinely fall victim to the vandalism that plagues our city should be hit with the expense of remedying the situation?
Perhaps the better question would be: what is the City of Oakland doing to help victims of vandalism?

How many times do you think your insurance company will pay for this? And they do not pay a full amount - and they do raise the rates or cancel.
Have some compassion..... :(
