Over the last year, the lane dividers circled in the attached photo in green have faded significantly. 90% of the people who exit the highway and take the left do not realize there are two lanes here to mitigate a backup. Most of the time people form a single file line instead of using both lanes most likely due to the degraded painted lane dividers. There is a sign notifying drivers that there are two lanes but no one is paying attention to it. That sign is located just right of the telephone poll where the black car in the photo attached is. Having the lines repainted would help decongest this intersection prevent a backup on the exit that would lead into the highway (Route 24N).
