It doesn't look like there is a bike lane in/alongside the Traffic lane into Alameda from the Miller-Sweeney bridge; however there was a cyclist using the auto lane. I needed to make a right turn onto Blanding from Tilden way, cleared the cyclist adequately, put on my R-turn signal and proceeded ahead, with the cyclist quite a ways behind me. It was during commute and the traffic eventually stopped, with me waiting to turn. When the cyclist reached me, she went into a rage and assaulted my car yelling, "why are you blocking my lane?". Don't cyclist need to go with the traffic flow like the rest of us? Isn't that vandalism to scratch or knock my car? Is that "her" lane? I thought we all had to share the road....what is up with this violent, lawless biker mentality?!

2) It is indeed illegal for anyone to physically damage your car.
3) Some people, on bikes or in cars, are unnecessarily aggressive. However, it's pretty rare to see a bicyclist flip out unless a driver did something first that put them at significant risk. I can't say whether your account is accurate or not, and escalating the situation is usually not the best strategy for a bicycle rider, but it is worth questioning if you did something on the bridge earlier that made the woman upset, perhaps passing her at close distance (3 feet or less). On a multi-lane road like Tilden the best and safest strategy is usually to completely change lanes to pass a bicyclist, as the 12-foot lanes are simply not wide enough for a bike and car to operate in together safely.
4) This is not a issue that is correctable via a SeeClickFix report, so I am opting to close it.
