Description

Ms. Becky Siciliano contacted dpw on 10/17/23 to report water coming up through the pavement since friday (10/13/23) and that they have contacted aquarion water co who tested the water and determined that it is not their potable water but opined that it is groundwater. Ms. Siciliano states that she has seen a map and there is an underground brook present in this location. Ms. Siciliano confirms that there is no odor indicative of sewage. Ms. Siciliano states that there was hole dug near the problem area and the hole was dry but that there is water rising through the pavement. Location of wet and puddling spot is to the left of the driveway by the mailbox. Please check storm drainage system in the area and clean as necessary to insure that the water issue is not related to storm system not functioning.
