Description

I previously reported that this tree was in need of trimming because several branches are sagging onto the power lines. I now believe that the tree may be in poor health because of two recent sewer projects that happened in the spring.

The sidewalk and street on both sides of the tree were dug up to access the sewer lines for 337 and 339 Hudson, possibly damaging the root system.

The tree has now been losing branches. Several have fallen and they have been leafless and fairly rotted. The tree has been losing leaves, has brown spots on the remaining leaves, and has several more bare branches.
