Positive response from the City on graffiti on Cliff Walk:
Just to give you an update – we removed the graffiti from the blue signs. The one that proved hard to remove is now clean. We will be looking into removing the sticker residue as well. We tried to remove the graffiti on the concrete wall at 40 Steps – it’s faded, but still there. We’ll be trying a different product in another week or two when we get it in.
I also talked to several city staff members about the blue signs. I was told that these signs are expensive to replace and expensive to have repainted/redone. We’re short on staff so doing it in house is not really an option anymore.
