Crews have been removing snow over the past few days. We have been assured by the building management staff that the lots are clear for the most part for effective use of the lot. There may be some snow that remains and that will require special removal from the lot such as piles on the roof deck.

Thank you. I will just say one more thing, and it's fine if you read it but do not answer:
My complaint was specific to the Jackson Street Garage, since that is the only one I use. After each snow storm, the steep slanted driving surface was slick with ice and snow. I was afraid that my car (or someone else's) would start to skid. I called the management directly with my concern suggesting they clear it or at least put down sand. They dismissed the concern. I realize that everything has melted now, on its own, but I'd like a company that is more proactive about the condition of the garage.

What is the relationship of the City of Malden with Laz Parking? Why not let in some competition? I'm sure this question won't be answered here, but perhaps someone in the city government will read this and give it some thought.
