Hello JDMDakota,
I don't know if you live in the neighborhood but the leaves have holes in it, etc. of a disease tree. Yes it looks alive from the pictures but we had a professional come out in the past that says otherwise. Walk around in the neighborhood, you will see for yourself and maybe a dead bird or two under a tree. This tree not only shed once a season its all year around, lol, seriously.
Sincerely,
Concerned Citizen

HistoricFan,
I would like to meet with the forestry division to discuss more on this matter regarding the trees (research/findings). Thank you, I shall wait to see what they say.

Dear James,
No, this is not normal trees when it is a hazard to the citizen of Detroit. The pictures do not do justice, you need to come out and investigate the trees (you have my address). I don’t think you are aware of the damage that it is doing not only to our property, the neighborhood and to the citizens of Detroit. Can you come out to discuss further the issues? Or do we need to get a third opinion before bringing it to the media attention for help? James, really how many pictures do we need to take over the years showing the trees development of hazardous and nuisance. We had a professional company doing treatment on our lawn and brought it to our attention back in 2017, 2020 and now 2023. Each time we brought it to the City of Detroit attention various depts. Please do come out in person to investigate, I welcome you to do so.
P.S.- I am sure if you come out and investigate you will agree to have this tree remove. You would not have a tree like this to continue to grow in front of your house planted by the City of Detroit, thank you.
