When turning onto I-40, esp. onto the East bound direction there are no lights to show the exact location of the entrance route. At night with all the on coming traffic and no traffic light, it can be horrific to say the least to cross 2 lanes of oncoming traffic and hopefully be aligned with the entrance ramp to East Bound I-40. I have personally witnessed a number of accidents at this entrance/exit. I have no night vision problems but this has been a concern of mine for several years. TDOT needs to survey this situation and add proper lighting to illuminate the roadway at night.
