Description

We understand the roads inside Chimney Lakes subdivision will be re-paved shortly. There’s been a dangerous jog in the curb as you go north on Johnson in Ferry from Shallowford into the subdivision. This would be a great time to smooth out the bend so people aren’t either hitting it or having last minute reactions steering to avoid it.

Yes please straighten this out. Many people have gotten flat tires here. Especially hard to see at night.

I agree, the curb that juts out causes many vehicles entering the neighborhood to overcorrect. When exiting the neighborhood there is often a brief moment of panic where it appears that oncoming traffic is going to cross the line and hit you.

Yes, please! This curb has done damage to our car in a heavy rain storm when we first moved here. It was at night and it’s poorly lit and we weren’t expecting the road to jut out like that! There is plenty of room to straighten, not sure why it was designed this way in the first place.

This curb causes cars to overcorrect in order to avoid it and narrows the road too much. It is a hazard. Please make it a more gradual curve to resolve the problem.
