Traffic near Central School is a public safety issue. No enforcement of parking laws; kids walk down middle of Alleyne St; parents park on both sides illegally, creating an ad-hoc one way; MBTA bus should just bring the kids to the school rather than drop off near Planet Fitness

This is certainly an issue that the City is aware of. A school on a major street presents traffic flow problems, especially during arrival and dismissal. As we move forward with the construction of the new Central Middle School, maintaining traffic flow will be a major focus.
Our crossing guards that currently work at Central do a fine job in protecting the children coming and going from school, especially given how busy that area is at those aforementioned times.
I will certainly pass along your comments to the police department.
