Description
This unfenced area contains water filled open pits which are hazardous. It also appears to be supporting commercial activities which are not compliant with zoning. Erosion controls are absent as well as zoning issues with excavation equipment and trucks frequently parked on the site. This site is the location of the natural Raleigh Springs which connects to the aquifer which supplies our city's water This is an environmental hazard which drains into the Wolf River and directly onto land owned by the Wolf River Conservancy. This matter should be given the serious attention it deserves The site is unfenced and a danger to area children and residents of nearby apartments as well as a breeding ground for mosquitoes with the standing water open pits.
