Description

There is no obvious/adequate signage for eastbound traffic on Mt. Auburn St. approaching Linden St. to not turn left on to Linden which is one way coming down from Mass Ave. The extension of Mt. Auburn on the other side of the island that traditionally meets Bow St. converges on that intersection. The previously existing sign has been removed and a temporary stop sign for the Linden St. traffic has been removed. There is a Stop Sign and Do Not Enter sign closer to the Lampoon House but it is usually blocked by parked trucks and is slanted away from the oncoming traffic. Usually several vehicles a day try to turn left up Linden into oncoming traffic and pedestrian traffic. This makes for a dangerous situation.
