The sides of the Copper Slough have not been cut in years. The volunteer trees are growing and will become an issue with the water flow in large rain events in the future if they are not cut and banks are not maintained. In the past the the banks were cut with a sickle on a tractor twice a year from Staley Rd to Rising Rd.

The banks of the Copper Slough have not been maintained for the last several years. In the past it was cut with a sickle bar on a tractor twice a year. When will this be done again? The banks of the 2 detention ponds at the end of Copper Ridge were always maintained as well and have not been done for many years.
