Description
Issue 1404550 was labeled 'fixed.' But, I don't understand the solution. I asked about the safety of a city leaf collection truck driver operating simultaneously both the driving of a large truck and the swing of the leaf collection joystick. While the truck is moving slowly, it is moving down the street with parked cars, pedestrians, etc. The driver is asked to multitask with one of the tasks being driving. This is the equivalent to texting & driving. Could my issue be addressed rather than simply being labeled as fixed?
And, none of the categories fit my topic.

Thanks for your opinion but under the statutes operation of these vehicles is not the equivalent of texting and driving. Our crews are hard at work daily cleaning leaves which are often illegally placed on the street.
Of course one alternative would be to have only leaves in bags collected; we are not aware of any major cities that do this so Raleigh utilizes the latest in automated leaf collection technology to accomplish this difficult task. This is also not an appropriate topic for submitting to SeeClickFix. Closing issue as there is no issue.
