The paint markings that you refer to on the street at Montevino and Mockingbird is not to label cracks in the street; it is to mark the underground utilities in preparation for a repair project our water department will be conducting on a water pipe leak within the month. The white paint indicates the area the utility companies need to check and mark for their lines and the orange paint represents the underground TV or phone line.
