San Miguel Avenue between Massachusetts Ave and Federal Blvd has become severely worsened with cracks, potholes, and uneven pavement for the last 10 years. This leads to a bumpy, jarring ride when traveling to our home located along that stretch. The nearly 1 mile stretch of road has been in need of complete repaving for a number of years but the city of Lemon Grove has neglected the road. This is one of the major east to west roads through the city. As a resident of Lemon Grove since 1976, I remember when this road was pristine.
