Thanks. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. My house is where Fordham makes an "L" turn, on the corner, and my bedroom windows are all significantly illuminated by the new lights.

We've installed a node on the light fixture which is suppose to have dimming capabilities to dim which I set to 60%. in the past I've tried this but with no success maybe due to programming issues but am trying again with hopes of success if you can let me know overnight if it is getting better or need to dim more or explore other options.

Im sorry but the brightness is unchanged. Can you dim it further? Or can you also possibly change the angle of the fixture so it is directing light North towards where Fordham makes an L-turn rather than directed at the side of my house where my bedrooms are? The light is so bright it disrupts sleep. Also note the light south of this one is also very bright (poles 9 and 10). Thank you for your efforts.

Unfortunately I did look this morning (5:50am) and no change, I did set for 2 fixtures on opposite sides of the village to dim last night and both failed these are suppose to have to capability of doing so. As they don't manufacture anything as to shade light I will engineer some to fit these fixtures as we have done with the old style cobra fixtures as I have another resident with similar issue of invading light into there house

thanks again. if the manufacturer claims that the lights are dimmable, would contacting them help? they are not living up to their promises or else maybe they have a suggestion? in any case, i appreciate your help and persistence.

We agree with sf that the new light is horribly bright and intrusive and must be corrected. Imagine its affect on the residents of #84 (once its current re-construction is completed), as this current light totally bathes the whole front of that home like a spotlight.

As a general question, can anyone say why these lights were replaced to LED on Fordham Rd? This is a quiet, short, narrow, one-way, rarely traveled street. Nearby streets, such as Breese Lane or Cooper St or Edward Lane, have the original sufficient lighting. The current new lights are like stadium lighting: overbright, harsh and unsightly. Not to mention totally disruptive of sleep. All lampposts on Fordham now have these newly installed and offensive lighting. Makes no sense to have replaced the old lights on this very small narrow street.

Has the village been able to figure out how to dim the harshness of the new LED lights on Forsham Rd (poles 9 and 10?). Or change the angle of the fixtures so they are not shining directly into my bedrooms? Thank you.
