I visited the Boulevard area on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd.

Though formal acceptance is difficult to prove, this alley has long been considered to be Macon’s and M-B’s. Until recently, the trash was collected in this alley.

The tall, dead leaning pine originates on the property of #868 Boulevard. The tree is leaning towards the alley and over the main telephone line for houses facing Boulevard and Nottingham. This dead tree is held up by other trees. When it falls it will block the alley, damage the phone line and possible land on properties on the other side of the alley. I do not know if it is in our interest to do something about this tree before it blocks the alley, or the phone company might want to protect their line. Ownership of #868 were this tree starts is listed as:

People in the neighborhood pointed out another problem tree. In the yard of #875 Boulevards is a very large dead pine leaning towards Boulevard. It could reach the roadway of Boulevard and damage the power and cable lines on that side of the road. This tree is off the M-B R/W. Ownership of #875 is listed as:
