I noticed this while I was planking this weekend. It should be extended as a green space enhancement. We should all take an active role in our life space and tend the fields for those who come after.
I revisited the site with staff from Traffic Engineering (I'm in Parks & Rec). We agreed that the striping patterns could be adjusted to fix the problem, and that a short section of the roadway shoulder could be widened to accommodate bike use. This could be done best as part of the repaving process, when changing the striping can be done at no additional cost, but it will be several years before that road is repaved.
That sound like politic answer to probrom. What is be ing done to fix problem. This need to be fix for taxpayer to use. Many workers in city can make fix happen fast. I vote too.
