Description
How can we get a connection to Mercer St from Van Schoonhoven Sq ?
The exit onto Middletown Rd is very dangerous and steep.
Mercer St would be a much safer alternative and the property line borders Mercer St, and it is a very short distance, about 100 feet to connect these 2 streets.

This may be a hopeless dream. It makes sense logically to build a road, given the hill is so steep and the visibility is almost zero, and cars coming down the hill are traveling at 45. It would be much better to have an entrance at the back of the lot, that would allow for safe exiting onto Mercer and onto Washington, rather than trying to not get smashed into by cars coming down Middletown.

The streets in question are within the village of Waterford and I, as Town Supervisor, have no control or authority over streets within the village of Waterford. Please redirect this request to Village Mayor J. Bert Mahoney. Thank you

Logically, it would be ideal for FD access only. In the case the railroad crossing is ideal. The public cruising the parking lot for a senior community is foolish, if not very risky.

The connecting road would be the main access and the current entrance would be for emergency access.
