I guess this app doesn't have a "service provider" for this location, it would be the County as it is unincorporated Walnut Creek. EB Regional Parks said it wasn't on their land. Submitted a report to the Sheriff's office with no response. I sympathize with the plight of the homeless, and if they needed a place to put their tent and could at least keep it clean it would be one thing, but the garbage this woman is distributing when there are garbage cans a few FEET away is just plain disgusting. there are now THREE shopping carts in the area filled with wet and disgusting garbage. the woman was seem lighting a fire in top of one of the picnic tables. this area is heavily traveled by people walking their dogs and parents with children. the closest bathroom would be the Back Forty BBQ or the Chevron station and I very much doubt she's walking all the way there to poop and pee let alone if they would allow her in their bathrooms and walking by her tent it stinks like a sewer. I doubt if there is anything anyone can do, and that is sad because it will only be a matter of time that more tents pop up and what was once a pretty part of the trail will become like it is under the 242 overpass.
