Thank you for your request this issue has been acknowledged and forwarded to the Public Works Department, Traffic Engineering Division who reports that this is all part of the 2014 local street pavement project by the Public Works Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) Division. The treatment to the roadway requires a minimum of 14 days to cure before the striping can be put back. All streets will be restriped after this cure time has been passed. The storm drains are covered as required by law whenever a construction project is on-going to prevent debris from entering the drainage system and causing pollution and clogging. They will be uncovered once all work is complete. This issue has been forwarded to the project manager for their knowledge.
