What you need to keep in mind is that the landscape workers have been victims of budget cuts. Ther are only 4 workers doing the job that 62 did just a few years ago. We have the entire city to clean and pick up litter. The public works crews still carry the major weight of the city as they have to respond to storm damage, downed trees, and special event support. That is where a large portion of the budget is going. I know this because I attend meetings and public forums. I read the newspaper and get involved in my city. I also practice yoga and Bali dancing events.

I will take the good natured ribbing from you, but the seriousness of the situation still needs to be addressed. We have been the victim of severe budget cuts that have left us shot handed and overworked. We have three workers doing the work that 72 could not keep up with. I know this from my study of city workers and their habits. I also poll people at the shopping center. I also read the paper and trade books.
