Any news about this issue? I had the same problem this morning ... cars parked too close to the intersection were blocking my view to turn right on Hargett.

I will check. If there is a stop sign at this intersection generally we do not sign "no parking" zones near the stop sign, but there is a city-wide standard that you must remain at least 15' back from the sign on any street. Establishing a no parking zone requires a City Council action so it would take a couple of weeks minimum, but I will contact the parking staff and see what they think.

Looks like we can address this one soon. A no parking sign should be installed within a week twenty five feet from this intersection, which is our standard ordinance for intersection clearance. Please do not hesitate to contact us after the sign has been installed if you continue to have a problem at this intersection, and staff will review the process to extend a no parking zone above what our standard ordinances allow. I saw the new sign a few days ago. Thank you! It makes a difference while turning right on Hargett St. off of Monie Ln. :O)
