On Saturday, October 8th late night into early morning of Sunday, October 9th our neighborhood in Machesney Park was vandalized. The Darby Close subdivision starting from Ralston Road to Brentwood, GregLynn, AppleJack, Ventura and more were vandalized. Red spray-paint was mainly used. The individuals painted fire hydrants, vehicles, mailboxes, garage doors, stop signs, drive-ways, etc. with nasty words and images. This was a wide path they covered in one night. The previous night they knocked down mailboxes on Ventura (according to the police).

We as a community have to look out for each other and report any strange, unusual activities, especially late at night. Please notify the police with any information related to this.
