Description
The newly striped bicycle lanes on W-bound 27th Street approaching Broadway are great, but the new alignment puts the bike lane right on top of a very wide and long gap between the concrete slabs in the street. This longitudinal gap could very easily grab a bike tire and cause a crash, which at this location could mean the bicyclist falling into the travel lane to the left and being run over. I know concrete patch work is very expensive, but a short term fix of expansion joint rope and caulk could be installed for only around $50 worth of materials. Please take care of this serious issue ASAP!
