At Jefferson and 43rd Avenue, and at Gallatin and 43rd Avenue, I'd like to see us consider bump-outs to make the neck of 43rd Avenue narrower at the intersection. A car making a left or right turn onto 43rd Ave street would be forced to slow down considerably to make the turn, and a bumpout with clear Do Not Enter signage at Gallatin and 43rd Ave would prevent motorists from turning right from Gallatin onto 43rd.

City staff is working with our sign contractor to replace and add additional signage in this area. We are working to confirm an installation date, but expect this to be completed in the next several weeks.
