I understand the reason for the lane restriction in front of the RESCO plant on the Lynn Marssh road rt 107, however it's creating a serious traffic safety issue. I drive that road daily and every day I'm in a situation where I'm at risk by following the rules. If you merge into the right lane as the line painting directs you there is a constant flow of traffic passing you in the closed left lane. It's impossible to take a left onto Ballard street because by the time the left lane restriction has ended, the traffic is all backed up by the people who ignored the left lane restriction. This lane restriction is totally ignored by 99% of the drivers.

This needs to be fixed with the installation of a hard lane restriction not just paint. Or just open both lanes and put a light at the RESCO entrance to allow trucks to exit.
