Description

Small Business struggling because access to my clients is blocked We've been in business over 16 years and are baffled on why the project manager is not moving the barricades to allow our clients in They promised they would 2 weeks ago This is not fair since we just opened in June

There's access from the east on 173rd because the barricades are placed to allow access. Others will have to take the posted detour around the active construction site.

Supposedly 173rd st will be closed until the end of September.

Because it says Road Closed and where the barricades on the east are, I’m completely cut off from existing and new clients. We were told the barricades would be moved west to the entrance of the business. This hasn’t happened for two weeks now.

CTI supports economic development. We have been a part of Hammond for over 17 years. Coincidentally both of my locations are challenges with road closures. I ask for small business support. And to reopen this case until it’s resolved.
