If you are interested in having your road/alley paved by the City, you and your neighbors may enter into a Special Assessment District (S.A.D). If a majority of residents in a specific area agree to join, a S.A.D. will be created and funded by the residents affected by the improvements, in this case a paved alley. Thank you. Yes, I was given that information and unfortunately only 3 of the actual owners use the alley for parking. The wear and tear is from city Vehicles and renters, as well as traffic form people using it as a cut through to avoid the school and church traffic. All properties on the ally pay property taxes and I would think those taxes could go towards the paving versus a special assessment and increase in taxes. Thank you again for your attention to this ongoing issue.

Our alley has been bladed four times now in the past three years we’ve lived here. I have two small children and this poses as a safety concern for not only my family but many. Please, can we create a more permanent solution? As blading is NOT WORKING.
