The blasting contractor has a horn on site which he sounds according to the regulations. A second horn blast has been added closer to Highland Ave prior to every shot. Police are on-site to block the traffic in both directions during the blasting. Neighbors are reminded to stay clear of the basting site especially once the warning horn has sounded. This includes Highland Ave. For everyone's safety, if Highland Ave is closed by the Police it is closed to vehicles and pedestrians. Please follow the instructions of the fire watch detail officer and the on-site police detail at all times.
