City of Allen Park assigned this issue to Matt Baker, Building Department Director

If the camera is facing someone’s home, literally within a few feet of their bedroom windows, and you walk into a room and the lights come on, does that mean they’re looking into the house? Is there a side door, in need of a security light? If the lights are extremely bright and the owner doesn’t want the bright lights towards his house, why would anyone want them pointed towards them, especially a bedroom? Are vehicles parked where it’s lit? Shouldn’t we be promoting privacy common courtesy? I guess not and just to do the same.
