Description
Wickford Way is frequently used as a short-cut between Mt. Vernon and Womack. During peak travel hours (often during the school year), the road is becoming more dangerous due to drivers failing to follow posted speed markers and simply failing to recognize the residential hazards (children, residents backing into street, etc). This is elevating to become a fairly significant issue of safety and quality of life for residents. What are options to address the concern? Speed bumps; traffic study (the electronic speed signs warning signs); 4-way stop at Cedarhurst (serving as a bus stop in AM for student). Please advise as to how to explore remediation options.
