I hope you can help. There is a Subway at 671 Martin Rd. sw in Huntsville that has 4 suites the problem is there isn't enough parking. There is a H&R Block and a salon (can't remember the name) and the other one is an empty suite. For all those businesses there are only about 25ish spaces. The problem is the people are parking on our lawn, not on the street but "ON" our lawn. I have gone out there several times and told the people not to park there and have even posted a no trespassing sign. I have also spoken to the owner Steven Hypes but he has had words with us and has called the health dept. on all of our neighbors along with us and refuses to cooperate. Bottom line is please, please tell him to get more parking installed. Matter of fact he owns the lot next door to the subway, all he'd have to do is pave it. Thank You so much for your time, Yvette

There is an empty lot next to the Subway which is under construction to be turned into a parking lot. This will fix the problem. It will not be overnight but it is being worked on. This is a growing vibrant area in Huntsville and is experiencing obvious growing pains. We will try to keep an eye on this problem. Please feel free to contact Officer Steve Graham directly at 256-427-5209 and let him know what times of the day the parking problem seems to be the most problematic and we will assist with the problem as it is occurring.
