its not lazy it econimical. 5 miles and almost 15 min out of the way to get from the west side of alma to get to town, when Superior was closed. it would also help with some of the congestion on Luce and Superior when school gets out.

Why do you want to add more roads? If you want roads, lights and buildings move to a large city. Leave Alma a nice pleasant country town.
