Description
I have been contacting our Aldermen and speaking with our Public Works official about the needs our neighborhood and streets are in. These streets have not been paved since the neighborhood began. Nothing seems to be getting done. Yesterday they came around and just put a shovel full of asphalt in the pot holes and left. We are tax paying citizens of the City of Hendersonville. It was stated and published in the Star News newspaper that we have more growth happening in this City than anywhere in the State of Tennessee. Why then is our Mayor Scott Foster claiming our City is so broke it can't afford to offer the necessary improvements to our neighborhoods and city streets?

April 24, 2012 - This is still open. Hopeful that this will be the year that our street which is located in the City of Hendersonville, will be paved! The streets on West Bank Drive and Drakes Hill Court are weathered so badly they are turning to gravel and are riddled with pot holes. Thank you for your support.

This is still open. I attended a Public Works meeting last night and was told our streets would be looked at and improvements/paving will be made in the Spring of 2013. We shall see. I am looking forward to resolving this issue.

This is still open – Spring is fast approaching. I am hopeful that the Public Works Department, Aldermen and others will honor their agreement and commitment to pave our streets in the Spring of 2013 as stated at the November meeting. -- Paula Johnson

Our street on West Bank Drive has finally been paved. Thank you to everyone who voted to have this fixed. This had been an ongoing issue for some time and I am very thankful to have it resolved. I appreciate the work of those who had a part in getting this street paving done. Although the street on Drakes Hill Court is still in need of paving, it is my hope that it will be taken care of in the coming days or months. I think it is only fair of me to close this issue at this time.
Thank you again, Paula Johnson
