Roadway repairs are investigated, scrutinized and prioritized using various metrics. ( Using Safety as our highest priority)

The Highway's Road Maintenance Division is responsible for making interim repairs, to County maintained roadway's. This is an ongoing effort to keep all the roadways owned by Howard County functioning at their best within the given constraints.

Asphalt repairs, generally take place between the months of May through October. Asphalt repairs are dependent on weather and the availability of materials.
