Description
There is a shrub in Coytemore Lea Park, near the red moon gate/gazeebo that has been completely defoliated by insects. The leaves emerged earlier in spring, but it has since been compeltely stripped bare. There are some remains of skeletonized leaves, but that's it.
The bush appears to be pretty dead. I'm not sure what the city's process would be for salvaging it or replacing it, or making sure the insect pests are gone and won't infest another bush, but the shrub is right on a walkway and pretty unsightly.
Not sure if they city is aware of this issue, but I wanted to bring it to your attention! Thank you!
