@George can you have someone come by to remove this? It’s in the way and an eye sore for the block. The owner shouldn’t have left it there and we just want it gone.

Violations have been written by this department several times now. The only way I can remove this is if Codes writes a violation and an abatement. Sorry that is the way the system is but we are trying to have it changed so violations can be fines for it not being cleaned up. People know that by getting a violation they have thirty days to clean it. That is why we are trying to change our legislation but it has to go through the state which we are trying to do with Skoufis and Jacobsen.

Maybe they should put it back inside for the new tenant !!!

Understood George thanks. Looks like the owners of that couch have left (as they were renters) but I hope the owner of the actual property removes the couch properly.

Spoke with the owner and he is sending a check to have it picked up on 6/22 on bulk day. He lives in Brooklynn and I was able to contact him through the real estate agent.
