The City's tree crew was recently dispatched to prune up some lower branches on the trees. Contractors regularly maintain the bushes at a low height. On my inspection of the area I found the biggest culprit of blocking the view to be the tree trunks, but removal of the trees does not seem to be a good solution, either. The trees provide a safety barrier to the side street and provide some noise reduction for the residents who live on the streets running parallel to Hillside Blvd. This issue is probably best to address with the Traffic Safety Commission to inquire about the possibility of installing a stop sign or traffic signal light on Hillside Blvd. Contact information can be found at https://www.ssf.net/government/boards-commissions/traffic-safety-commission Thank you.
