It’s disappointing, this seems to be the only thing we get from SeeClickFix if it’s more involved than picking up dead animals or abandoned furniture. Completely Agree that this tunnel and others on the Walnut Creek are a problem! Worse, it’s the sort of experience that can put off new riders if this is the first part of the greenways they attempt.

I’ve tried to find anything online that fits the request ID numbers they give us, but there’s no joy in that. It’s a lost communication opportunity for the city, that also can discourage people from contributing via this system. Please keep asking, I hope they’ll respond!

The lights come and go in this tunnel, especially after flooding events. The city did make an effort to improve this tunnel by replacing the old lights with somewhat tougher led strip, but while the lights are currently on (June 2023) I do wish the city could be more proactive on this issue. The cleanup crew now comes out very promptly after flooding to remove mud; maybe the city could send an electrician out with the cleanup crews so the lights get fixed up just as quickly.
