Description

I live at 125 Ferncliff Ave Unit E-344 (3rd floor). Diamond Parking light #40 located at the entrance to the Ferry Terminal building on pole #SLAH6975 violates outdoor lighting code 18.15.040. High Intensity light shines up and into my bedroom & living room. Flood light shines up not down and is it is not shielded. I have attempted to resolve this with Diamond Parking, B.I. Ferry Terminal Supervisor and B.I. Public Works without success. This floodlight also shines into the public park & heritage trees at Harbor Square. Very annoying

Q. Is this issue visible from the public right of way? Code Compliance may not be able to follow up on anonymous issues not visible from a public area.
A. Yes ... flood light also shines into the Harbor Square public square & the public park (the heritage trees) at Harbor Square condos.
