Description

The traffic signal at the intersection of 14th and 12th Streets with Lake Merritt Blvd. seems unnecessarily long. There is quite a long period when no traffic moves through the intersection. As a bicyclist, this creates a hazardous situation as a long queue of cars builds up during peak hours which I then have to contend with as I move from the bike lane across the traffic lane to the green bike lane that continues east on Lake Merritt Blvd.
