This is still an unanswered issue. I’ve seen many cars run a red light to make this left turn as the light signaling often skips the green turn signal and you are stuck
waiting there for a very long time. Additionally the left turn lane gets backed up and into the ongoing fast lan due to cars being unable to turn (due to no flashing light a green turn light that only occasionally occurs). These are a safety issues.
