It's even more dangerous for bicycles. I've fallen here once, when there was no traffic on a SUN morning. I fell into the travel lane when my tires slipped into the groove between the rubber matting and the track. There is a method to accommodate cyclists in a situation like this; it's called a "bulged crossing" and if I could figure out how to add an image of this solution to this post, I would do so. This is the ultimate solution. For today, it is critical that the condition of this crossing be addressed by the RR, the State, or the Town. It is a bad situation that has gone on far too long.
